Status and background of foreign youth outside the labor market and school

In recent decades, the employment participation of young people has decreased in most parts of the OECD member states, and at the same time there has been an increase in the group of young people who are neither studying nor working (i.e. not in employment, education or training (NEET)). A similar development has taken place in Iceland, and Varða - the labor market research institute has conducted two studies on this group.
